What a good stay! Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was perfect for our needs, with a friendly staff, made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived.
Breakfast option could benefit from fresher pastries for a better start to the day.

The double room we stayed in were neat with a great bed. Accommodating staff, provided useful info. Location: the hotel was near good restaurants, the motorway & Solihull, and the centre.

light and spacious room, very nicely furnished
Disappointed in the lack of toiletries. Hand wash and shower gel were only items supplied. No tumblers for teeth cleaning, had to go down to the bar and ask for a couple.

Comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Decent real ale.
Average food. I had a steak & ale pie with mash potatoe and veg. If there was any ale based gravy in the pie it had all but evaporated by the time I got it. The mash was inedible and the vegetables were steamed / boiled to death.

The room was quite spacious and the bed offered good comfort. I appreciated the well-equipped bathroom, especially the efficient shower. The peace and quiet of the room stood out, given the bustling atmosphere of the nearby pub. It was also a nice touch to have an EV charger in the parking area, which made charging our car quick and easy.

Comfortable family stay!
We were super pleased with our big family room, really spacious and clean. The food at the bar downstairs was a delight, especially breakfast! Only thing to note was the parking can get a bit crowded at times. A cozy spot to enjoy family time.

We stayed at this hotel as we were flying from Birmingham airport the following day. The hotel room was clean and comfortable and had everything that we wanted. There was a busy restaurant attached which we didn't use but looked very pleasant and the outside area was very inviting with plenty of tables and some heated and nice planting. We had an enjoyable stay even for just the one night as we went for a walk into the town which took minutes and had a drink in a friendly bar and an Indian meal. We will use this hotel again.

Hotel is well located in the smart village of Knowle near Solihull. Easy to find and Parking is freely available. Our room was very clean, well appointed, well furnished, spacious and with an exceptionally comfortable bed plus TV etc. We used the Bar and Restaurant fairly late in the evening and enjoyed a good meal. There is also an attractive outside eating/drinking area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. As the Hotel is situated at one end of Knowle High Street there is also an abundance of Pubs, Restaurants and Shops within easy walking distance.
Only a few minor points worth mentioning. The one and only problem with our room was a water tank situated above our room which was relatively noisy in the morning at peak shower/bath times. Some noise from the nearby road and the outside restaurant but not a big problem. We stayed mid week in August at a discounted room rate. We would not have been happy to pay the normal tariff as for us it was an overnight stop and we just needed "clean and comfortable"

We had a comfortable, kingsize bed in a clean room. We expected it to be quite noisy as the bar downstairs was extremely busy, but we actually hardly heard any noise.
Having soap dispensers on the bathroom wall rather than little bottles is perfectly acceptable as long as they are regularly filled. When we arrived, both of ours were empty, and after we reported this at reception the one over the bath was filled but not the one by the sink - only a little thing but irritating.
